SNOW... in Greece?!?!?? & pictures from Corinth

So, it's been SNOWING these past 2 days here in Athens, Greece. Yes... Greece. Snow. Blizzards. Ice. Slipping. Throwing snowballs at each other. Cold.

On FRIDAY it was in the 60s Fahrenheit! And on Saturday night, it snowed. And on Sunday, it snowed some more. It's like I'm back in Michigan and I didn't even know it! What the heck...... Also, church services were canceled... I went to 2 different churches, and one was canceled because of the snow, and the other was canceled because the psalti (chanter) didn't show up.

Today, Monday, we have a "snow day", but not a true one... as all the Greek classes are canceled at the Athens Centre, but our other two classes are still happening (Philosophy and Byzantine History).

I have my first paper this semester--it's in Archaeology and it's due next Tuesday.

Speaking of Tuesday, tomorrow we are leaving on a 5-day trip for the Peloponnese and will return to Athens on Saturday evening.

On Sunday, Alanna, my friend for Michigan, is coming to stay with me for 6 days until Friday for Michigan's Spring Break! It's almost here already!

For now, I will leave you with the links to the pictures.

ENJOY!
